Winter in San Francisco is interesting.  February is usually our stormy winter month.  February 26, 2004 saw winds up to 60 mph, creating beautiful waves at the Pacific Coast side of the City.  During winter the birds, large and small, play around, enjoying the winds while in flight.  Gallery Six includes both the stormy sea and some of the birds -- highlighting the Raven and the House Finch; also, we include candid shots taken during February.  We expanded Gallery Six on February 28, 2011 with pictures from Fort Mason Public Gardens, San Francisco.  Gallery Six was first published March 3, 2004 by City Birds.
