San Francisco's only significant storm of winter 2004, as seen in Gallery Six, ended on February 26th. The sky cleared and in a few days we would find ourselves blanketed in oppressive heat, day and night, in what would become the warmest 12 consecutive days (during the November-March period) in 65 years here in San Francisco. Here we see how some folks and birds dealt with the heat; and sample the beauty an unseasonably early springtime can bring to the City. By day twelve both bird and beast were growing weary of the heat. Blessedly, the fog returned the morning of March 19th, cooling things off a bit. April 13, 2011 we added ten photos of the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival Parade of 2009. The festival and parade are held each year during April.
