Photo Gallery Thirty-nine features a series of photos of and around Yerba Buena Gardens, San Francisco.  The pictures were taken on Labor Day, September 1, 2008.  Many trees were showing Autumn colors.  By mid-morning the temperatures were in the 70s.  Labor Day is one of a few days of the year when the bulk of the tourists have left the City and the tens of thousands of commuters who converge on the City during the work week are missing -- allowing the natives to briefly reclaim the beauty and charm of their City.  Photo Gallery Thirty-nine was first published October 6, 2008 by City Birds.
