| These two Rock Doves, or Pigeons, are beautiful birds, both in flight and while walking around people on the streets of San Francisco. Because most folks don't realize the variety and number of birds crossing the sky over the City, these obvious birds are blamed for about everything. For example, when a driver finds a package slapped on the windshield, the Pigeon is blamed for the delivery. Chances are just as great the deliverer was one of a sky-full of gull-like birds, or Crows or Ravens or even one of our adorable birds of prey flying over the City. A City Birds digital photo. |
