Photographing storms at the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean, such as this February 26, 2004 storm off of San Francisco's Pacific shore, is a stimulating experience.  However, it is necessary to exercise care, even during a modest storm.  It only takes one great wave to pull a person into deep, frigid water.  A City Birds digital photo.
