| What appears to be a fairly large outdoor barbecue is seen to the left in this picture taken between the bars of the stockade-like Presidio of San Francisco building seen in the previous picture.
To the right is a rather strange arrangement, some sort of trapdoor perhaps. You don't suppose executioners sat roasting marshmallows while some miserable slacker dangled from the end of a rope, do you? One can only ponder upon what really happened inside that building.
