| Mid-morning on Memorial Day (May 30) 2005, the Marin Headlands were sunny, with temperatures perfect for climbing around the hills.
In this picture, to the right is the oval-shaped Vista Point and the Northern approach to the Golden Gate Bridge. To the left is the "Waldo Grade" and tunnels leading to points North. Notice the bike/hike trails in the foreground and leading under the Bridge. There are many trails in the beautiful Marin Headlands -- too many to be enjoyed in one day. A City Birds digital photo. |
